| Principals Guillermo Díaz Guillermo is President and co-founder of Strategic Science and leads the Strategy practice of the firm. For the past ten years, he has led numerous projects in the areas of strategy development and enterprise transformation. During the ten years prior to creating Strategic Science, he was a leading deal maker specialized in foreign investment in Mexico, where he was head of corporate finance at Grupo Financiero Prime Internacional, head of structured financing at Operadora de Bolsa, and Vice President Corporate-Sector at Bank of America. Previously, he was a systems engineer at Sperry Univac. Guillermo has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Tlalnepantla, an MBA from Purdue University, and is a doctoral candidate in Operations Management from the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey. Lourdes Miranda Lourdes is Vice President and co-founder of Strategic Science and leads the Quantitative Analysis practice of the firm. Based on her strong mathematical skills, she plays a key role in the development of sophisticated quantitative models of clients operations. Prior to joining Strategic Science, she held positions as head of market research for IBOPE (TV ratings), and senior research analyst for Operadora de Bolsa. Previously she was a consultant for the steel industry at Atisa Atkins, after being head of strategic planning at Sidermex. She worked in statistical and financial planning at Aeromexico, and in system simulation at the Mexican Petroleum Institute. Lourdes has a bachelor’s degree in mathematical statistics and a master’s degree in applied statistics both from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México |
